Kitui County
Overview
Kitui County is located in Eastern Kenya. It covers an area of 30,496.5 sq km. Temperatures range between 14°C and 34°C while rainfall range from 500mm to 1050mm per annum. The county has 4 Local Authorities (Municipal Council of Kitui, County Council of Kitui, and Town Council) Kitui Town is the administrative capital.
Economy of Kitui County
Agriculture is the main economic activity particularly subsistence farming involving traditional land-use system and a mix of highland agriculture and lowland cattle-grazing. This blends well with the regions climatic conditions.
River Athi is the only perennial river in the county flowing along the border with Machakos County. The county has several dams that play a significant role as a water resources. Springs can be found in the hilly areas of the county while underground water sources supplement surface water sources.
Wholesale and retail markets supliment the subsistence farming as sources of income for the residents of the county. The county has a cotton growing industry with much of it being done at subsistence level however investment in cotton production is an opportunity investors can take advantage of.

Tourist attractions include Saiwa Swamp National Park and Prison Museum. There county has are a number of irrigation project that take advatage of the regions topography and rivers and the Turkwell Dam.

Overview
Vihiga County covers an area of 530.9 sq Km. it has an annual average rainfall of between 1,800mm and 2,000 mm and average temperature of 24 Degrees C. It has 3 Local Authorities (Vihiga Municipal Council, Vihiga County Council, and Luanda Town Council) Mbale Town is the administrative capital.

Vihiga County has hilly terrain. It also has a good amount of forest cover such as Kibiri forest, which is an extension of Kakamega forest. Agriculture is the main economic activity. Overview
Uasin Gishu County lies in the mid west of the Rift Valley. It covers an area of 3,345.2 sq km. Temperatures range between 8.4 0C and 27 0C. The county has two rainy seasons with average rainfall from 900mm to 1,200mm per annum. It has 3 Local Authorities (Municipal Council of Eldoret, County Council of Wareng, and Town Council of Burnt Forest) Eldoret Town is the administrative headquarters.
Economy Uasin Gishu County
The county is very cosmopolitan particularly around Eldoret Town Kenya’s fourth largest town. The economy is dominated by agriculture and is one of the largest contributors to food security in Kenya. Wheat, maize and dairy are the leading farming activities. Opportunities exist to expand this sector by investing in value addition of agricultural products. The county is home to many of the county’s top athletes. A number of training camps have already been established to grow and nurture new athletic talents.
The country has relatively well established infrastructure including Kenya’s third international airport that handles large amounts of cargo from the middle east The airport gives the county an opportunity to grow and expand the export market. I has a broad industrial base particularly in and around Eldoret Town.
