Perfomance Statistics Of Key Sectors
Agriculture is the backbone of the economy for it accounts for about 24% of real GDP and approximately 60% of exports. Manufacturing constitutes 13% (2002) of GDP. Manufacturing sector is composed of medium and large-scale enterprises with major foreign multinational companies from Europe, USA, and Asia.
